Spaces team was hosting their weekly talk on Spaces that was dedicated to its Android version. Apart from a possibility to create spaces that should come to Android testers next week, the team mentioned a list of features that they are working on already.
Most of them were related to additional Space control features like:
- Changing Space description
- Muting all or individual listeners
- Sharing advanced Space cards that show host status and information
- Additional UI improvements for hosts to see who is in the space in a more aggregated or relevant way
Twitter Spaces team also confirmed that this feedback form will give you a chance to participate in testing.
However, I suspect that in the end, you will just end up being a part of the Alpha Google Group that you can join bypassing them accepting you explicitly 👇
On a closing point, it also turns out that now you can see an active space minimised on the bottom part of the UI if you have it working in the background.
