Antropic is gearing up for the release of its desktop app, according to rumors. The previously unavailable download page is now accessible, so instead of a redirect, users can already open the URL. However, they will see a message saying that the feature is not available for their account yet. It’s expected that once the release happens, a new download button will appear, allowing users to get a zip file. It’s still unclear whether the app will cover both Mac and Windows, though it is likely to be an Electron-based desktop app.

Mobile app update

In addition to the desktop developments, there has been an update to the mobile application. This update includes bug fixes and a new button that allows users to upload more knowledge files to the project knowledge base. Previously, this feature was only available on the web and not on mobile. With this change, the app becomes even more useful, especially considering that similar functionality is not available on custom GPTs or child GPT applications.
