Perplexity keeps polishing their upcoming features, starting with the introduction of Spaces, which is a revamped version of Collections, and continuing with Perplexity Purchases. “Buy with Perplexity”, a feature discovered earlier, has now become more visual, making it clearer how the UI will look. The Purchases tab and settings will likely contain a list of purchased items at a later point. From there, users will also be able to set up details like shipping, address, and payment methods.
The settings provide an introduction to the feature, highlighting its benefits, such as free shipping, with Perplexity taking care of the entire process. The form itself is very well-designed, as expected.
On the front of the introduction of Spaces, there is now a new banner ready to notify users about this feature. The Spaces grid has also been slightly redesigned, with tiles now appearing slightly bigger. This feature is very likely to be released alongside the file search feature. The new setting for Spaces, aside from prompt customization, also allows uploading a knowledge base. Since the UI for these features is coupled together, the probability of them being shipped in tandem is quite high.
It’s still unclear when they will arrive, because this week saw the finance search update, and next week is planned for the macOS app launch. So, we are likely to see these new features at a later date.
