Perplexity is planning to extract collections from its library section into a separate category called Spaces. This move will simplify the user experience (UX) and boost Spaces usage. Currently, collections are very underrated.

Users will also be able to set a default model for different collections, which is a significant productivity boost for collection users. At present, you have to change the model every time through settings or ask Perplexity to rewrite everything using a different model.

In general, collections are projects where users can set their own prompts, which will be applied to all search queries.

In the long run, Perplexity is also planning to add knowledge-based support along with the release of file search, which they have been working on for a couple of months.

Perplexity AI focuses on providing a user-centric experience with intuitive design and streamlined interfaces. The company emphasizes personalization, using data analytics and machine learning to tailor search results to individual preferences.
