Perplexity is working on preparing new integrations for its enterprise customers. In October, the company announced a series of partnerships with companies like FactSet, Crunchbase, and others, aiming to bring additional data access to enterprise users through APIs. These integrations are designed to enhance Perplexity’s capabilities by allowing enterprise users to access external data sources directly within the platform.
In particular, both the FactSet and Crunchbase integrations focus on financial data. Crunchbase provides company information, while FactSet verifies financial data points to ensure accuracy. These integrations are expected to become available in the organization settings within Perplexity, enabling users to select data sources when conducting searches. Initially, only Crunchbase was available, but the FactSet option was later added as well.
At present, Perplexity is aiming to offer these two integrations, but more are expected in the future, potentially increasing the value of its enterprise offerings.
