Perplexity continues to work on its data tab in Settings, which would allow users to upload their files and later search through them. This feature is intended for both personal accounts and organizations, enabling searches across documents within an organization. A new tab for the data feature has been added to Settings, and the UI appears to be updated, now seemingly connected to the real API. However, it remains inaccessible. This feature was introduced a couple of weeks ago and is progressing towards a ready state. Testing this feature will be interesting, as the ability to search across a personal or organizational database would be a valuable addition to Perplexity’s current capabilities.
