The Perplexity iOS app recently received an update that introduced several new features. One of the main additions is incognito mode, which was previously available on the web but not on mobile. Now, users can enable it in Settings, ensuring that subsequent sessions remain private and won’t be stored in the chat history.

In addition to this, two smaller updates have been rolled out:

  1. Chat autosuggestions are now available to all users, making interactions smoother.
  2. Financial data is being visualized with updated widgets. When users request the stock price for a specific ticker, a graph appears, allowing them to switch between different time frames.

Some basic company information is also included. While it’s not as advanced as the financial search on Perplexity’s web version, it’s still a notable improvement.

A couple of features have been introduced to the web application but are not yet available on mobile. These include the newly launched file search and the rebranding of collections into spaces. Hopefully, these features will be rolled out to mobile soon.
