OpenAI kicks off “12 Days of OpenAI” with daily live demos and launches

OpenAI just announced “12 Days of OpenAI,” where they plan to announce and release 12 different things. Each day will feature a live stream presenting a demo or announcing a launch—possibly a new feature or a preview of something upcoming. This event will start on December 5th at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and is expected to continue daily.

It feels like OpenAI is preparing a Christmas present for everyone, and there’s already significant speculation on social media about what features to expect. At Testing Catalog, we also invited followers to guess what features or announcements might appear, turning it into a bingo game where the person who predicts the most announcements wins.

Some safe guesses include features that have already been discovered:

1. The full release of the O1 model.
2. Vision capability in Advanced Voice Mode.
3. Possibly a Santa-themed voice in Advanced Voice Mode.

The Santa voice feature was recently discovered, along with a new animation for the Voice Mode button on the prompt bar (featuring snowflakes). This likely opens Voice Mode with a new Christmas-themed voice. Additionally, the Voice Mode’s round interface might also be animated with snowflakes.
