Google AI Labs has shared images generated by the new Imagen 3 model, with the first trusted testers starting to receive access. These images, which feature a white female, suggest the new model performs better than the previous generation in certain areas. Currently, Gemini's image generation capabilities do not allow users to create images with human figures, and this feature is unavailable in the EU region.
The Imagen3 model is expected to be part of the ImageFX experiment in Google Labs. Rumors indicate that it will soon be available to Discord members in the Google AI Labs server, where access has also been granted individually through the forum.
Moreover, the ImageFX website now includes a feature for sharing images. In the context menu for a specific image, a new share button generates a link. Opening this link in a new tab leads to a dedicated page with the image and a remix button. This button allows users to modify the prompt or use the editor to in-paint on images generated with a similar prompt.
Currently, the Imagen 3 option is not yet available in the settings, so it's a matter of time before this feature sees a broader rollout.
