Previously discovered in the code, the mention of AI Studio in MetaAI seems to reference a store for AI assistance, similar to the GPT store on the ChatGPT app. This information was confirmed by WABetaInfo, where they shared screenshots of the AI Studio already available on the WhatsApp mobile app.
According to the screenshot, it appears that users will have access to custom AI assistance, which looks very similar to custom GPTs with starting intents to begin the conversation. It is yet unclear if the possibility to create these assistances will be open to the public. However, the screenshots indicate that some of the assistances were created by users other than Meta itself.
It’s yet unclear when this feature will potentially roll out, but it will be a significant step for assistance builders.
