In case you missed it, Perplexity recently shipped an update for the finance search embedded into the general search capabilities of the app.
Besides previously available financial data for certain companies, they also added a couple of new sections, including highlights from the news and the performance of peers, like peer store tickers.

In general, this release or official announcement has been very well received. Many people are considering the competition with the Bloomberg terminal, which is widely used among professionals working with financial data and trading.
Lastly, there was one minor change that allows Perplexity to search and visualize cryptocurrency data. You can now see charts for most crypto coins, including meme coins.
