Grok recently released its vision capability publicly on both web and mobile platforms. Previously anticipated, this feature now allows users to upload images to Grok and request image recognition. While initially restricted by a feature flag, the functionality is now fully accessible to the public.

On the mobile app, users can access the file upload option via a plus button, though its placement may not be immediately intuitive. Currently, Grok appears to have incorporated most of the known and anticipated features. It’s likely that xAI’s efforts are now concentrated on developing Grok 3 and potentially an in-house image generation model.

In addition to these updates, it appears that Grok may soon introduce a new feedback flow. Upon pressing the thumbs-down icon, users might see a selector to specify the reason for their feedback. This feature aligns with feedback collection approaches already implemented by other LLM products. Also, it’s worth noting to update the icon to reflect the Halloween theme.
