Anthropic is preparing a range of updates to the cloud application. Alongside the anticipated model announcement and the introduction of reasoning and web search features, they are also working on smaller enhancements. One notable change is the transition of the LaTeX feature from preview to general availability, moving it out of beta.
Another significant update in progress is the expansion of GitHub integration to personal accounts. Last year, Anthropic introduced GitHub integration for enterprise and team accounts, with the expectation that it would eventually become available for individual users. Now, there are signs of this becoming a reality. Although still hidden from the public, the GitHub integration is starting to appear in configuration settings.

Once activated, users will be able to enable the GitHub integration through their settings and use it directly from the main prompt bar, much like the existing Google Drive integration. This will be especially valuable for developers using the Claude UI, as it will allow Claude to interact directly with codebases and potentially leverage its capabilities to query entire repositories.
The exact timeline for this rollout remains unclear. While some releases and announcements could happen this week, it is more likely that the majority will coincide with the Amazon event on February 26.
