Anthropic is currently working on a new feature for conversation summaries. This feature, spotted during reverse engineering, will appear directly on the home screen in a separate collapsible section at the top of recent chats. Next to this section, there will be a “Generate New Summaries” button, indicating that users will be able to create summaries of past conversations.
This feature seems to be designed primarily for team plans, allowing users to catch up on projects and conversations among team members. However, it is unclear when it will be released and if it will be available for personal plans as well. Social media reactions are positive, with many users finding the feature potentially useful.
In addition, on Claude, users can now bulk delete past conversations. A “select all” button has been added, making it easier to organize and clean up chat history.
