Ideogram is releasing its new feature called Canvas in beta. This feature includes various options to work with images, including Remix, Extend, and Magic Fill, in addition to the generic image generation. The new feature can be accessed from the sidebar menu, where users will find an open, draggable Canvas field.
Users can start image generation by entering prompts into the designated area. Once the generation is complete, a set of four images will be produced. These images can be selected and further modified using the tools available on the side panel. For example, users can pick one image and remix it further.
This feature bears similarities to the functionality available on platforms like MidJourney. Overall, the Canvas feature provides users with access to a powerful AI-based image editor. Given that Ideogram 2.0 excels at handling text, this tool is expected to be highly useful for marketers and content creators.
