Anthropic is preparing to release its desktop app, which has been in development for quite some time. The app, internally referred to as “Claude Nest,” recently had a new download page added to the Claude AI web interface. Although the download isn’t available yet, this new addition hints that the desktop app’s release could be imminent.

In addition to the desktop app, Anthropic is developing a new feature for artifacts, potentially allowing users to export their artifacts directly into VSCode using a separate extension. This feature may operate similarly to artifact remixing, generating a URL to open in VSCode via deep link. The extension would then fetch data from this URL, streamlining the development process. This enhancement is expected to be a helpful addition for developers using Claude for their projects.
