Anthropic is testing strict usage limits for free ClaudeAI users and working on Starred chats

Anthropic is testing new strict rate limits for ClaudeAI free tier users. Users will now be allowed to send only 3 messages within a 5-hour window. These rate limits are shared across web and mobile, and users will see a counter showing how many messages they have left. When the quota is exhausted, an error message will indicate when the service will become available again.

Additionally, ClaudeAI will introduce a feature allowing users to mark conversations as 'Starred,' pinning them to the history sidebar. This feature will also be available for Personal plans. However, the new UI redesign is not yet available for public use.
